As the weather gets colder, the air gets drier. As the air gets drier it sucks the moisture from you hair and skin. Leaving you with frizz, fly-a-ways, dry and itchy, flaky skin from head to toe..  You need to re-moisturize your hair and skin to neutralize this issue.  Start by using a light moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for your hair type and apply a moisturizer to your skin..

If you feel you’re still pretty dry get a stronger moisturizer until you find the one that suits you…

I personally like the Aquage Hydrating Shampoo and Hydrating Balm…

Money is tight for some.. To get the best of your hair color, go in two weeks after getting your hair color done and ask for their “gloss”.. It’s a semi-permanent “clear coat” that goes over your color. The clear coat gives you about 2 extra weeks out of your color adding a lot of shine. It seals the cuticle and doesn’t cause any damage. Saving you time and money.. However if you get it done the day you get your color done some stylist will give you a discount and you still get longevity out of your new color..

The “Lob” (Long bob), the updated Shag (about 2 inches longer then the original) and the Tecktonic (in my opinion, the new “Emo”) are just 3 of the new styles hitting the streets for Fall and Winter. So far i love them all..

It has been said that mullets are coming back! Well, I don’t care if it’s Kristen Stewart or Joe Dirt.. Mullets will never be in style! They are not cute.. The words fashionable and mullet should never be used together..

I was browsing the web today and came across something i believe to be a blast from the past but with a modern twist! The Digital Perms! Decades ago, stylist would hook you up to this machine that curled your hair!

Well, the Japanese have done it again with The Japanese Thermal Restructuring techniques! The stylist will still put rollers in your hair and hook you to a machine that you sit under for about an hour, heat is applied and you come out with beautiful healthy curls.

From what i understand the digital perm is healthier, visible, and stronger when the curls are dry. The perm is suppose to last longer. With a “normal” perm the curls are visible and stronger when their wet, cause more damage, and only last about 3 months.

What do you guys think? If you’ve had a Digital Perm i’d love to hear your thoughts about it!

Fall is here! When changing your hair color for fall keep in mind to use warm tones! Rich Reds, Chocolate Browns, Golden (non-brassy)Blondes!  These colors will be great all through the winter as well..

Well, Michelle Obama’s “new do” wasn’t quite that.. It was a really good faux Bob. That means it was styled to look like a bob haircut. However, i still think it looked great!

I absolutely love her new haircut! I think it softens her face giving her a very sexy and feminine look!  She looked beautiful before, but with this new look, it makes the old haircut look too masculine and too strong for her face! She has such a strong bone structure she needed a softer hairstyle!

Again, I love it!
